How It All Started

Robin Mohr has been teaching, designing, and creating stained glass art for over 30 years. Her beginnings in the world of stained glass art started with learning this versatile and amazing art form from her Aunt, Alice Sasack. Alice was the owner, artist, and teacher of Alice in Wonderland art studio in Miller Beach, Indiana - "In loving memory of Alice." Both Alice and Robin’s husband Tom where the founding influences and supporters in creating Robin’s Stained Glass Studio. In her free time, Robin enjoys being outside gardening, hiking with Tom and they’re dog Reagan, and biking with her husband. She loves cooking and being in the kitchen and spending time with her family and her granddaughters. One of Robin’s passions has been serving in her church with elementary and middle school students for many years.

Custom Art & Commissions

Robin is uniquely practiced and qualified in designing custom glass pieces that can be found adorning homes, businesses, community, and city buildings. These include beach home skylights (in Florida), custom wedding gifts, custom street lamps, custom windows and shutters, custom doors, custom cabinet and pantry doors, custom transoms, and so much more!

Along with her custom designs, Robin has become trusted and known for her repair and restoration talents! Dedicated to serving her clients with the best options available, Robin offers a full scope for repair and complete restoration for all of her clients’ needs! Doors, windows, lamps, family heirlooms and historic pieces are just a few of the items that have been through Robin’s studio and continue to live to see another day.

In Memory of…

Robin's Stained Glass Studio offers a beautiful and unique memorial for clients. Each of these memorials are one of a kind, handmade pieces. Many years ago, a client brought in flowers and asked Robin to create a lasting memory. These memoriam pieces have continued to play an import part of Robin’s work as she has expanded her studio over the years and are lasting art pieces that can and will last for generations as they impact family, friends, and communities.

Artist & Teacher

With over 25 years of teaching experience, Robin has recently expanded in offering her classes not only to adult clients but to youth as well! This includes elementary, middle, and high school aged youth. Her enthusiasm for teaching youth has been made possible through the innovation, expansion, and diversity of glass technology that allows for creation and safety for all ages! From hot glass and powered glass, to a multitude of pre-fired glass the options for this art form are endless.
